FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

I didn't receive the license key email

License keys are sent within minutes of checkout. If you don't see it in your inbox, check Gmail's Promotions tab or Yahoo/Outlook's Junk/Spam folder first — emails from new senders sometimes start there. Once you mark a Tomocreate email as "Move to inbox" or "Not spam" the next ones will land directly. If you still cannot find it, write to contact@tomocreateinc.com and we will resend it manually.

What does a license key look like?

A four-character plugin prefix followed by three groups of four alphanumeric characters separated by dashes — e.g. TRKK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. The prefix is unique per plugin (TranceKick = TRKK).

Where do I enter the license key?

Open Tomocreate Hub.app → Activate tab → paste the key → click Activate. Or click the status pill in the top-right of the plugin window → Activate. The Hub app is bundled inside the installer .pkg.

How many devices can I use?

Up to two devices per license. If you replace your Mac you can deauthorize the old one and register the new one from your account page at tomocreateinc.com/en/account.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — a 7-day free trial. Click Start Trial the first time the plugin loads in your DAW; Tomocreate Hub launches and begins the trial. After it expires the plugin inserts a brief silent gap every 5 seconds (industry-standard demo behavior) until activated with a license key.

Do I get both AU and VST3?

Yes. A single license activates both the Audio Unit (AU v2) and the VST3 build. During installation you can pick which formats to install via checkboxes — install both or only the one your DAW needs.

Which DAWs are supported?

Logic Pro / GarageBand / MainStage (Audio Unit v2), and Studio One / Cubase / Nuendo / Ableton Live / FL Studio / Reaper / Bitwig Studio / Reason (VST3). Pro Tools (AAX) is not supported at this time.

What are the system requirements?

macOS 14.0 Sonoma or later. Universal binary — runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. There is no Windows build at this time.

Can I get a refund?

The 7-day free trial lets you fully evaluate the plugin before purchasing. For our refund policy, please see our refund page.
