Stop position — one automation line from 0% to 100% creates a complete gate-stop effect
Rate
Auto mode: rate steps from 1/32 to 1/4 as Gate progresses. Fix mode: locked to selected rate
Cut
How deep the gate chop silences the signal
Shape
Chop waveform — from sharp square to smooth cosine
Filter
Resonant LPF sweep depth — creates the 'sticky' quality as the gate stops
Reso
Filter resonance (Q) — higher values add metallic ringing at the cutoff frequency
Drag
Rate deceleration — makes the chop rhythm slow down like a rusty wheel grinding to a halt
Metal
Comb filter resonance — adds metallic shimmer to each chop pulse
Room
Always-on ambient reverb — adds air and space regardless of Gate position
Space
Tail reverb — fades in at the end of the gate-stop for a natural decay

Linear: even fade throughout. Expo: stays loud longer, then drops fast
